Tilda integration

Add AtomicX to your Tilda project so it loads on every page.

Photographic storytelling sections arranged into a website.

Before you start

  • An AtomicX account. The free plan works; add AI when you're ready.
  • A paid Tilda plan (Personal or Business). Custom code isn't available on Free.
  • Access to the project's Site Settings.

1. Copy your snippet from AtomicX

  1. Sign in to AtomicX and go to Insights › Widget generator.
  2. Under 1. Select Configuration, choose the chat you want on this site.
  3. Pick 2. Display Mode (Floating corner bubble or Full Page), 3. Button Position and 4. Widget Theme. The Live Preview shows the result.
  4. Under 5. Integration Method, choose Auto-Initialize. It's one snippet that starts the chat when the page loads.
  5. Under 6. Generated Code, click Copy.

2. Add it to Tilda

  1. In My Sites, open your project and click Site Settings.
  2. Open the Insert Code tab (called More in older versions).
  3. Next to HTML code for the HEAD section, click Edit.
  4. Paste your AtomicX snippet and save.
  5. Go back to the project and click Publish all pages.

Republish all pages. Head code only reaches pages published after the change. It doesn't run in the editor or preview.

3. Check it works

  1. Open your site in a private or incognito window, so you're not seeing a cached or logged-in version.
  2. Look for the chat button in the corner you picked.
  3. Ask it a question you know the answer to. Then check the conversation appears in Conversations in your AtomicX dashboard.

Good to know

  • If you skip "Publish all pages", only some pages will have the chat.

Update or remove it

Go to Site Settings › Insert Code, remove or replace the snippet, save, and republish all pages.

If something isn't right

  • No chat button? Clear your site's cache, check you published or saved, and try a private window with ad blockers off.
  • Two chat buttons? The snippet is installed twice, for example in your site and in Google Tag Manager. Keep one.
  • Still stuck? Contact us and tell us your platform and site address.
