Before you start
- An AtomicX account. The free plan works; add AI when you're ready.
- Editor access to the site's Settings. On agency-managed sites, your agency may need to do this for you.
1. Copy your snippet from AtomicX
- Sign in to AtomicX and go to Insights › Widget generator.
- Under 1. Select Configuration, choose the chat you want on this site.
- Pick 2. Display Mode (Floating corner bubble or Full Page), 3. Button Position and 4. Widget Theme. The Live Preview shows the result.
- Under 5. Integration Method, choose Auto-Initialize. It's one snippet that starts the chat when the page loads.
- Under 6. Generated Code, click Copy.
2. Add it to Duda
- Open the site in the Duda editor.
- In the left panel, click More, then Settings.
- Click Header HTML.
- Paste your AtomicX snippet into the Body End HTML field.
- Click Save, then Republish.
The live site picks up the chat only after you republish.
3. Check it works
- Open your site in a private or incognito window, so you're not seeing a cached or logged-in version.
- Look for the chat button in the corner you picked.
- Ask it a question you know the answer to. Then check the conversation appears in Conversations in your AtomicX dashboard.
Good to know
- Using a cookie banner? Use Body End HTML, not Head HTML. Duda says consent tools can't hold back code in the head.
- Agencies can add the snippet to a template so every new client site starts with the chat.
Update or remove it
Go to More › Settings › Header HTML, clear or replace the snippet in Body End HTML, save, and republish.
If something isn't right
- No chat button? Clear your site's cache, check you published or saved, and try a private window with ad blockers off.
- Two chat buttons? The snippet is installed twice, for example in your site and in Google Tag Manager. Keep one.
- Still stuck? Contact us and tell us your platform and site address.
