Most chat tools treat GDPR as an enterprise checkbox. We treat it as the architecture. Here's the breakdown of how AtomicX handles consent, retention, and the right to be forgotten.

Every AtomicX conversation starts with an explicit consent gate — not a buried cookie banner, but a first-message acknowledgement. The visitor agrees (or doesn't) before they type a single word.

Data residency

EU customers run on Frankfurt (eu-central-1). North-American customers run on Toronto (ca-central-1). Conversation data never crosses regions without explicit opt-in.

Retention defaults

We retain conversations for 30 days by default. Configurable down to 1 day or up to 13 months. Data export and deletion are available in-chat — the visitor can ask for it and it happens automatically.
